About Kate

Kate first experienced Thai Yoga Massage in 1995 when she was working as an agricultural development officer for an international charity in Cambodia. She was so amazed by its benefits that she made it her goal to become a massage practitioner. Eleven years on, she trained with Kira Balaskas, one of the most highly regarded teachers in the West, at the School of Thai Yoga Massage in London. She has since trained in Advanced Thai Yoga Massage techniques.

Kate has also trained to VTCT level 3 in Swedish Massage, and holds a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy and Anatomy and Physiology. She has a Hot Stone Massage qualification that is recognised by the Complementary Therapist Association.

The training is accredited by the International Guild of Professional Practitioners (IGPP) and the Traditional Thai Yoga Massage Association (TTYMA).
